Same error, while trying to install MSSQL2008. Reinstalled .NET 4.0 both Client and Extended, tried via Windows update and manually from MS site. Still getting error popup.

When I have include subdirectories enabled from the preferences and the rename folders enabled from the renaming tab, the only folder/directory that is renamed is the last one.

Anybody else have this issue? Anybody know how to resolve this issue?

I have been having the same exact problem as so many others. What is going on? I have a new Toshiba lap top Satellite L505 that I bought in May and the .Net Framework v4.0.30319 error message keeps popping up continuosly. I have tried downloading .Net Framework 4 but I am still getting the error message. What can be done? Thanks, Dennis

Tato moznost tam zamerne neni. MP3 soubory neobsahuji dostatecne presne informace, aby byly relevantni pro CDDB.

Zdravim.
Je nejaka moznost odeslat data do freedb pouze z MP3? Prihodi se tu a tam ze neni k dispozici CD (napriklad nektery stary cesky punkovy zalezitosti mam pouze na LP) a jeden by se o ,v potu tvare nabusena data, klidne i podelil,ale nejak nevim jak. (Musim se priznat ze pouzivam Mp3tag,ale v dobe kdy jsem si vybiral soft na praci s databazi muziky,asi tak rokapul az dva zpatky, jsem ID3 renamer zkousel a tuhle moznost jsem tam neobjevil.

I have the same trouble. It was working a few days ago. I have tried EVERYTHING you can possibly think of. I still get the error message:To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework:
v4.0.30319
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework."
Please help!!!!!!

I have exactly the same problem with the latest version. Previous versions worked perfectly. This is on Windows 7 / 32bits, with latest updates.

I have the exact same problem with Sibelius 6. Anyone know how to get rid of the box? The program worked fine before one day it just stopped and gave this message...

I have the same message. Downloaded and installed latest .Net software and still have the problem. Mine has to do with psqltray.exe. The software works fine works fine but I can't get rid of the message box.

eheheh the problem is about a misplaced fault of «space» between the «Year» and the «Name of CD? in the mp3 example.Now this works great!!! Another question please... I try to get FreeDB access and the program make the full scan of mp3 files. After this thay says: "Connection error", and do nothing :( ... Maybe it's a problem of firewall? What's your opinion? I write the excusably this in the RE Setup:
(.*) - \[(.*)\] - (.*) - (\d*) (.*)
and live the rest of the fields blanked....
The program don't find matches, what I need to put this work???

Hi,
I need the special regular formula for ID3 tagging from filename for the next file name example:

"Anton Arensky - [1993] -The Romantic Piano Concerto, vol 4 - 01 I_ Allegro maestoso"

It's based on respective name fields:

Artist - [year] - Name of CD - Track Number Title

(between the track number and the title exists a space, ok?)

Tha'ts only this, nothing more :) Can you help me,pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaase?

It says connection because it cannot connect to FreeDB without some required information. I changed it now to something like "nothing found".

Don't know about the program, but any other things can access for reading and writing it just fine. I've updated my NAS to the latest firmware, the problem persists.

The strange thing is this "connection error" - shouldn't it say some file IO error when bumping into unaccessible files?

There's no debug switch. Are you sure, the files are accessible by program (permissions?)?

Is there a debug mode you might switch on in a build? I'm getting stir crazy about this... the same folder is read perfectly from a local drive, while from a NAS it's not even running through the files like by default, just puts out a progress bar about 4/5 full and then writes Connection error.

Strange, it's not becoming better even though EAC and the XBMC on my Xbox accesses it properly - tried them since I though it might be some firewall issue (I'm behind a router without any software firewall). Seems like I'm out of luck :).

I tested it right now, reading data from my NAS and doing FreeDB search and works for me.

Hey, thanks for the fix - but now when starting a freedb search, I just get a Connection error. Is it only for me, or did you meet such problems?
